Roy's sleepwalking pain ahead of terrifying operation in Corrie

It’s well known in Coronation Street that when Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is stressed, he sleepwalks.

In 2019, after the death of his mum, Roy was spotted sleepwalking by Carla (Alison King).

The next night, Roy was sleep-walking again and ended up on Peter’s (Chris Gascoyne) boat.

He knocked a paraffin lamp over, which sent the boat up in flames.

However, to everyone’s horror, Simon (Alex Bain) was trapped inside.

The cause of Roy’s stresses right now are his health problems, which started a few weeks ago when he walked out of a salsa class after experiencing chest pains.

In tomorrow’s (May 26) edition of the ITV soap, Roy will have further trouble with his breathing while out walking Freddie the dog, which prompts Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) to call an ambulance.

In a new week, as Freddie goes in for his op, Nina (Mollie Gallagher) reveals to Evelyn that Roy’s been sleepwalking again because he’s worried about his own operation.

But is there anything they can do to help ease Roy’s stresses?

Or will it be a case of waiting until the operation is over?
