Ranvir Singh is the fourth celebrity confirmed to take part in Strictly Come Dancing 2020.
The Good Morning Britain presenter’s place in the competition was announced on today’s programme by none other than showbiz reporter Richard Arnold.
‘I’m very thrilled to be on it,’ Ranvir said. ‘I’m worried about the sleep deprivation. I’m worried about energy levels.’
Fellow Good Morning Britain presenter Adil Ray was initially tipped for Strictly in July after he dropped hints during an interview with professional dancer Neil Jones that he’d signed up for the series.
‘I’ve heard a rumour they’re all in the same hotel together, that’s what I’ve been told,’ Adil said.
Ranvir immediately pulled Adil up on it, asking: ‘Do you know from an insider? Is there something we need to know?’
‘I’m not saying anything!’ Adil laughed.
Last night, it was announced that Max George, Caroline Quentin and Jason Bell are taking part in the upcoming series.
The exciting news was revealed on BBC’s The One Show, with hosts Alex Jones and Amol Rajan doing the honours of confirming the three celebrities.
Men Behaving Badly actress Caroline was the first to be declared and said in a video call: ‘I’ve been keeping it very difficult as I like to chat as you know. I’m going to be there doing all those crazy dances, a bit scared but excited.
‘Like most little girls I did ballet at the age of three…’
She then quipped: ‘I do remember some of what I learnt but my knees are 50 years older than the last time I attempted any of it.
‘My knees and undergarments are troubling me most. I hope my knees don’t let me down.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One later this year.
