Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) had her life completely rocked by stalker Justin (Andrew Still) in Coronation Street earlier this year, though it seems he is still playing mind games with the influencer.
In recent Corrie scenes, it was revealed that Justin was due in court for assaulting Daisy in Victoria Garden.
Viewers will remember that Daisy and partner Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) set up a sting operation which saw local police officer Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) catch Justin assaulting Daisy.
Following the plea hearing, Daisy was stunned to learn that Justin had pleaded guilty to the assault, despite having already pleaded not guilty to the acid attack that had left Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) with severe burns.
To make matters worse, the judge postponed the sentencing until after the trial for the acid attack, leaving Daisy in a state of unknown.
Justin’s surprise plea shook Daisy up, leaving her wondering if he truly believed he had a good chance of being found not guilty of the acid attack, pointing out that he had managed to avoid the stalking prevention order in the past.
Daniel tried to settle her mind, suggesting that he just wanted a way of spending more time with her, and that she shouldn’t let it worry her so much.
When it later became clear that she was still fretting about it, Daniel revealed that he had been thinking it through.
He explained how Justin probably didn’t want to admit to himself, let alone anyone else, that he was responsible for such a heinous crime.
He likened it to son Bertie stealing Daisy’s expensive lipstick and continually denying it, despite the evidence being all over his face.
Eventually, Daisy agreed that he was right, and she was probably just overthinking things.
However, as they headed off to pick up Bertie, it became clear that someone was watching them.
Was Daisy right to be worried all along?
