Chelsea make Jan Oblak 'No1 keeper transfer target this summer' and will offer Atletico Madrid Kepa as part of deal

CHELSEA have made Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak their number one goalkeeper target this summer, according to reports.

And the Blues will reportedly try to include out of favour Kepa as part of the deal.

The Spaniard, 25, was axed in February for five games following a series of blunders.

And though he has returned to the first XI, he has come under fire again recently and seems destined to depart Stamford Bridge this summer.

And the West Londoners will try and swap him with Slovenian stopper Oblak, according to the Mirror.

The Blues hope to try and offset what would inevitably be a world record fee for a goalkeeper.

But it remains to be seen whether Atletico would be interested in such a deal.

Oblak, 27, has a £120million buy-out-clause in the contract he signed last summer which runs until 2023.

Chelsea are said to value him at less than £100m and hope they could use Kepa as part of the payment.

The LaLiga side would likely prefer to hold onto Oblak given that he is widely considered the best goakepper in the world.

But a cash injection after the coronavirus pandemic might come in handy for the Champions League quarter-finalists.
