Homeware stores, along with all other non-essential shops, were forced to temporarily close on March 26 as the government tried to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

They were given the go-ahead to reopen from mid-May, with all non-essential stores able to reopen from June 15, but the dramatic drop in sales during lockdown has lead to retailers slashing prices.

Retail analysts have predicted discounts of up to 70 per cent off throughout July, August and September, as well as flash sales as retailers look to encourage shoppers to spend again.

Some of the best deals we've spotted on homeware offer up to 53 per cent off.
