Patrick Kielty getting tearful as Cat Deeley sends him a message of support
Patrick Kielty was visibly tearful on Friday night after being surprised with a good Llck video from his wife Cat Deeley ahead of his hosting debut on The Late Late Show on RTÉ in Ireland.
In a clip posted to the shows X, formerly known as Twitter, he is handed a phone as he sits in the make-up chair and is told, “It’s a nice surprise”.
He then looked shocked as Cat appeared on screen announcing “Surprise”
“I know today is your big day,” she said. “I would love to be there but I’m holding down the fort here in London, at home,” she continued, visibly moved.
“But we are sending you all good luck vibes,” she told her husband. “You’ll be brilliant, no doubt about it.”

“The boys and I wanted to get you something to mark the occasion, so we made this for you…Hope you like it… good luck,” she said as he was handed a bag by his make-up artist.
“This is just what you need just before you go on air,” he said with tears in his eyes. “This is great I’m not gonna make it to air here!”
As he opened the gift bag he discovered it contained a personalised shamrock shaped leather keyring.
