Louisa Lyttonhas gushed about motherhood and described the seven weeks since her baby daughter Aura was born as being the “best weeks of [her] life”.
The EastEnders star gave birth to Aura, whom she shares with fiancé Ben Bhanvra, on 30 August and endured a gruelling three-day labour – something which she says she doesn't remember much of.
Louisa shared an adorable snap of her cuddling Aura with her hand resting on her head while lead back in a leather armchair.
The new mum captioned the photo: “The best 7 weeks of my life (would love a little 8 hour sleep though)”.
Louisa’s celebrity friends have been quick to comment on the picture. Fellow EastEnders star Guraline Kaur Garcha wrote: “how lucky is she to have you as her mummy.”
Singer Lisa Maffia commented: “That’s a beautiful picture lady,” while The Saturdays’ Vanessa White replied with a heart emoji. Daisy Wood-Davis also replied with a string of heart-eye emojis.
Many of Louisa’s fans have also commented on the heart-warming photo, with one writing: “Beautiful photo! You’re doing brilliantly Louisa.”
Another person replied: “Gorgeous photo! those 8 hours are coming don’t you worry about that,” as a third person put: “Love how real this is, yes it's the best thing ever but goodness I need sleep!!”
Earlier this month, Louisa shared another photo of her and Aura and joked that perfect Instagram photo days were behind her.
Sharing a thread of photos of her pushing Aura’s pram, the 32 year old wrote: “Made it out of the house today!! *takes a bow* it’s official the Instagram picture opportunity days are over. This is as good as it gets.”
“Washing my hair was the biggest achievement of September.. wait it’s now October. Aura slept whilst we ate a WHOLE meal (which I couldn’t taste thanks covid) But I feel like we are on the right track, I wouldn’t change it for the world,” Louisa continued.
Following the birth of Aura,Ben is said to be considering quitting work to become a stay-at-home dad.
Ben said he’s loving being a dad, and Louisa joked to OK! that Ben wants to create his own daddy day care.
“The thought of not being with her, I’d be rushing back,” Ben said. “Luckily I can work from home for a bit."
Louisa went on to say: "I feel like he’ll never go to the office again! I’ve been walking over to my mum’s as she’s not far and 10 minutes later the doorbell goes and Ben is there!
