Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘Eternal Atake’ Debuts Atop Billboard 200

Lil Uzi Vert‘s new album, Eternal Atake, debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart dated March 21, giving the rapper his second No. 1.

The album dethroned Lil Baby‘s My Turn, which dropped to No. 4. Lil Uzi Vert is the third “Lil” act to reach No. 1 in 2020, following Lil Baby and Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne had hit the top in February with Funeral.

Eternal Atake, which was released on March 6 via Generation Now/Atlantic, also earned the biggest streaming week for an album since 2018.

According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, the record, which is the rapper’s first in about two-and-a-half years, earned 288,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the tracking week ending March 12.

Out of the total units earned, 278,000 are in SEA units, a little under 9,000 are in album sales and 2,000 are in TEA units.

The SEA-unit figure translates to 400 million on-demand streams for the album’s 18 tracks during the tracking week, making it the fourth-largest streaming week ever for an album and the largest week for any album since Lil Wayne’s The Carter V, which debuted with 433 million clicks on the chart dated October 13, 2018.

Luv Is Rage 2 had bowed at No. 1 in September 2017, earning 135,000 units.
