Prince Harry shares rare details about Archie and Lilibet's daily routine as he talks about ‘self-care’

SINCE Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior members of the Royal Family, the couple have purposefully kept their two adorable kids mostly out of the limelight.

But during an earnest chat for US firm BetterUp, the Duke of Sussex gave a rare insight into the family's everyday routine.

Over the course of the interview, the dad-of-two admitted that he has "experienced burn-out" in the past and has now made "self-care" an everyday priority.

This means carving out some time around Archie and Lilibet's schedules to do a quick bit of meditation.

Most days, Harry says he utilises his daughter's nap time – as three-year-old son Archie has started going to school.

He explained: "Even if you do have 15 minutes slate of white space, I now put in about half an hour or 45 minutes in the morning when I'm like 'okay, one of the kids has gone to school, the other one is taking a nap' there's a break in our programme."

"You need to put it into your day diary as a habit otherwise it's the first thing that drops away"

The famous couple are reportedly treated like any other parent on the school run as they take Archie to nursey near their home in Montecito.

It's alleged that The Queen's great-grandson is being taught about “emotional literacy” and how to look after the environment at nursey.

A parent of one of Archie’s classmates told the Mirror: “Harry often drops Archie off and picks him up, and seems like a good dad.

"All the parents have been laid back in welcoming Harry and Meghan, without making a fuss.

"And to the other kids, Archie is just one of them.

“They don’t know his parents are royalty, and probably wouldn’t care – unless Meghan was a Disney princess.”
